The first 50 family’s will be given a 3 ring binder to help organize the emergency information that will be handed out.
Emergency preparedness educators, and businesses will have table top discussions and items to share and demonstrate. We will have snacks too!

6:00pm to 7:30pm Wallowa Avalanche Center
Join the Wallowa Avalanche Center on January 21 at 6 PM for a free Avalanche Awareness Presentation. Avalanche Forecasters Victor and Kelly McNeil will lead a 1.5-hour presentation covering introductory topics in relation to avalanches and safety. Topics will include: traveling safely in the mountains, avalanche rescue gear, reading the avalanche forecast, and more. If you own avalanche rescue gear: (transceiver, shovel, probe) please bring those with you as we will cover the fundamentals of this life-saving equipment.
